Don’t Replace It, Raise It!

Deciding between concrete lifting and complete replacement usually comes down to three factors: your budget, your timeline, and the severity of the damage. Here is a streamlined breakdown to help you choose the right path for your driveway, walkway, or patio.

1. Cost & Efficiency

  • Lifting: By injecting a stable material we mix on the job site beneath the slab, you can restore your surface at a fraction of the cost of a full pour. It’s the “quick fix” that actually works for most sunken surfaces.
  • Replacement: This is a labor-intensive process involving demolition, site prep, and pouring. It’s expensive, but necessary if the concrete is crumbling or structurally compromised.

2. Durability & Longevity

  • Lifting: Ideal for correcting unevenness caused by soil settling. However, if the underlying soil is highly unstable, the slab may eventually shift again.
  • Replacement: A “reset button” for your property. New concrete can last for decades, especially when dealing with deep-rooted structural issues that lifting can’t solve.

3. Environmental & Aesthetic Impact

  • Lifting: The eco-friendly choice. It keeps old concrete out of landfills and maintains the visual consistency of your existing surfaces.
  • Replacement: While it generates more waste, it allows you to modernize your home’s curb appeal with new textures, colors, or finishes.

Final Verdict

Choose Concrete Lifting if you have a sunken but otherwise intact slab and want a fast, affordable solution. Choose Concrete Replacement if the concrete is severely cracked, crumbling, or you want to completely change the look of the area.

Our Raised Concrete Process

How It Works

How Slabjacking Works

Our slabjacking technique causes concrete to be pushed back up into the proper position through grout injection, creating a new foundation under the slab. The grout fills any holes or voids under the concrete and hydraulically raises the slab to the desired placement. The result is a smooth even surface.
